Water Information Management System

The Acrasoft Water Information Management System ("WIMS") is a computer-based application designed to provide an integrated platform for handling various water district operational, administrative and reporting tasks.

The WIMS application provides water district personnel with a centralized tool for storage, maintenance and reporting of district data. Features provided by WIMS include:

  • Aqueduct Turnout (any location where the district receives water from an

  • DWR Orders (water orders placed by the District with DWR)

  • Projected Deliveries (flow projections for Turnouts, Delivery Systems, and/or
    Aqueduct Turnouts based on Grower Order data)
  • Meter Readings / Water Usage (manual, handheld or data import)
  • Maintenance Activity
  • Water Transactions (additions to or subtractions from individual water accounts
    because of transfers, adjustments, supplemental allocations such as interruptible
    water or turn back pool water etc.)

Open Architecture: Unlike some closed, proprietary systems, WIMS uses industry standard
Microsoft SQL Server for data storage. An optional SDK allows direct interface to WIMS data while
maintaining all data security and integrity rules.

Accessibility: Users can directly access the data for advanced reporting or integration with other
systems.

Flexible Configuration: WIMS is configured for each district and custom modifications to meet special requirements are no problem.
