GroundControl Overview
GroundControl is a full-featured tool that lets you build your own macro files to easily automate tasks on your computer. You have at your disposal over 200 functions to do everything from basic Window controls to the more advanced email DDE , SendKeys features. You use the Wizards to quickly add commands to the macro window, or use the toolbars to add commands at the click of a button. GroundControl handles the syntax and structure, and supplies examples that illustrate every function’s usage. GroundControl has advanced registry and file functions. Also, powerful variables so you can manipulate data with ease. You also get Internet and SQL functions, plus easy networking features.
This makes GroundControl the fastest and easiest way to get your computer working for you more effectively.
GroundControl saves each macro you write as a single file, and you can run other macro files from inside any given macro file. This means you can specialize your macros for certain tasks ( like subroutines ) and keep your files small. Using the flow control statements , you can make real-time decisions to launch those tasks or not. GroundControl comes with a full set of file functions, and a strong suite of diagnostic functions to monitor disk space and memory, track and log errors, etc.
GroundControl is not just a simple batch file processor - it comes with plenty of functions for user interaction with question boxes and input boxes. This means you can use GroundControl as a front end for other applications you don't want users to have access to, especially if you take advantage of the SendKeys and DDE functions.
All in all, GroundControl is a powerful instrument that is easy to use, easy to maintain, and far-reaching in its capabilities.

What's New in Version 3.30?
WriteToRegistryInt lets you write native REG_DWORD values into the registry.
ExecuteSQLQuery and other SQL commands allow the manipulation of ADO recordsets.
GetSystem now supports the DOMAIN_NAME variable for reading the user's domain.
New ImpersonateUser, RestoreUser, and InputPassword commands let you stretch your security limitations.
SetExecutionStepDelay allows you to dynamically change the execution speed of your macro while it's running.
ProgressShow has an optional parameter to enforce "Always on Top" mode.
SetSendKeysDelay allows you to change the delay between characters as they're transmitted.
The new ProgressCancelled command and new Progress Window (Cancel Button, multiline information display ) features provide more interaction with long-running jobs.
ReplaceVariables was added to provide a cleaner way of substituting variables in strings.
The new GetPixelColor, GetPixelColorField, and GetPixelColorRGB commands allow you to examine and manipulate screen pixel colors.
A bug with KillProgram where the command failed to work if the parameter included the path to the executable file has been fixed.
The Command Wizard window supports a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+C ) for capturing the mouse coordinates into the correct parameters for the Mouse Button commands, MoveMoveTo, and MouseRollTo commands.
PutVarIndirect, GetVarIndirect were added to provide the equivalence of pointers and arrays.
FTPLogin now supports specification of Active or Passive mode.
Ping now allows pinging of nodes through VPN firewalls, and a new parameter allows tracking of the actual ping statistics.
Add, Subtract, Multiply, and Divide now support floating point arithmetic. FixDecimals and MathExpression were added to support floating point arithmetic and advanced math functions.
The Macro Running icon in the system tray now shows the name of the running macro.
